Ordering something sweet should be simple. Here you'll find answers to some of the most common questions about ordering from Celebrations by Keychel, including lead times, payments, pickup, delivery, changes, and more.
Order Lead Time
All Party Package orders require at least 3 weeks' notice and are subject to availability. Dates may close once my schedule reaches capacity, so ordering earlier is always recommended, especially for larger events.
Rush Orders: Party Package orders may be accepted with less than 3 weeks' notice when my schedule allows and are subject to a $50 rush fee. Rush order availability is not guaranteed.
Delivery vs. Pickup
PICKUP
All Party Package orders are available through complimentary contactless porch pickup in East Lake Charles. Please arrive at the pickup time selected when placing your order.
Your order will be placed in the pink pickup cooler and has a one-hour pickup grace period. After that time, Celebrations by Keychel is not responsible for damage that may occur while an order remains outside. If you need to change your pickup time, please communicate with me as soon as possible.
DELIVERY
Delivery is available for Party Packages, subject to availability. Delivery is offered at designated public meeting locations throughout Southwest Louisiana and surrounding areas, with fees ranging from $15 to $130 depending on the location.
Someone must be available to personally receive the order at the scheduled delivery time. Your delivery fee and meeting location will be confirmed when placing your order.
EXTENDED DELIVERY
Delivery outside our standard meeting locations may be considered on a case by case basis for an additional fee. Extended delivery is subject to availability. Please contact Knead for Sweets with your requested location for a quote.
How Do I Place
an Order
All Party Package orders are placed through Bakesy.
There, you can explore our available packages, select your pickup date, provide your celebration details, and submit the required deposit.
Your date is not officially booked until your 50% nonrefundable deposit has been received.
Design Coordination
Celebrations by Keychel creates custom desserts inspired by your celebration's theme, invitations, color palette, and provided inspiration.
Design References: To ensure your treats coordinate with your event, please provide any available invitations, mood boards, decoration inspiration, and specific color preferences before production begins.
Creative Freedom: When complete event details are unavailable, designs will be created using the information provided and the artistic discretion of Celebrations by Keychel. Inspiration serves as a guide and will not be recreated exactly.
Color Variations: Colors may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of our treats. Exact color matches cannot be guaranteed.
Allergen Information
Celebrations by Keychel is a Louisiana home-based bakery.
This product was produced in a home kitchen and is not subject to state licensing or inspection.
My kitchen is not nut-free, egg-free, dairy-free, or gluten-free. Products are prepared in a shared kitchen, so I cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact.
Party Packages & Customization
Celebrations by Keychel offers three coordinated Party Packages designed for celebrations of different sizes.
Small Party Package | $190
Medium Party Package | $365
Large Party Package | $535
Each package includes custom sugar cookies, signature cookie pops, caramel pretzel rods, chocolate covered Oreos, and a double layer cookie cake. Quantities vary by package size.
Sugar cookie flavor options include Vanilla and Chocolate. One sugar cookie flavor may be selected per package, and signature cookie pops will share the same flavor.
Chocolate covered Oreo options include Original and Golden.
All decorations are coordinated around your selected theme and color palette, within the customization options available for each treat.
Only the flavors, products, and customization options listed in our Party Packages are available. Individual treats are not offered as standalone custom orders.

Payment Policy
50% NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your order and date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before pickup or delivery.
24 HOUR PAYMENT POLICY
When a deposit, balance, or other payment request is sent, payment must be received within 24 hours. If payment is not received within that timeframe, the order may be canceled and the date released.
NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSITS
All deposits are nonrefundable. If you need to reschedule your order and provide the required notice, your deposit may be transferred to a later available date, subject to availability. Deposits may be transferred a maximum of two times. After the second transfer, any additional rescheduling will require a new deposit.
Changes & Cancellations
Changes or cancellations may be requested up to 7 days before your scheduled pickup or delivery date.
All deposits are nonrefundable. If you need to cancel or reschedule within the allowed timeframe, your deposit may be transferred to a future available date, but it will not be refunded.
Changes requested less than 7 days before your order is due may not be accepted because preparation for your order may already be underway.
Orders canceled less than 7 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date are not eligible for a deposit transfer.
Order Concerns
I take pride in every order that leaves my kitchen and want you to receive what you ordered.
If there is an error on my part or you have a concern with your order, please contact me within 12 hours of pickup or delivery so I have an opportunity to address it.
Credits, replacements, or refunds are considered when an issue is the result of an error by Celebrations by Keychel.
Weather & Emergencies
Please pick up your order during your scheduled pickup time. A one-hour grace period is provided. If you are running late or need to make other arrangements, please communicate with me as soon as possible.
Because the outdoor pickup cooler is not waterproof, orders may be kept inside when rain or severe weather is expected. Orders may also be held inside when outdoor temperatures could affect the quality of your treats. If your order is placed outside and is not collected within the one-hour grace period, Knead for Sweets is not responsible for damage resulting from delayed pickup.
In the event of severe weather, pickup or delivery may be rescheduled for a safer time later that day or another mutually agreed-upon time.
I understand that unexpected emergencies can happen on either side. Please communicate with me as soon as possible if an emergency affects your order.
If an emergency on my end prevents me from fulfilling your order, you will receive a full refund. If the emergency occurs on short notice and leaves you with little or no time to find another baker, you will receive a full refund plus a credit toward a future order.
Communication Policy
Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Messages received outside business hours may require additional response time.
Please allow up to 24 business hours for a response. When information, approval, or payment is needed to continue an order, customers will be given 24 hours to respond.
If the requested information, approval, or payment is not received within that time, your order may be canceled and your date released. Any payments already made remain subject to our cancellation and refund policies.
